By signing this waiver, the client will explicitly acknowledge the following risks:
Ransomware & Malware: Without endpoint protection, systems are vulnerable to ransomware, viruses, and malicious software that can encrypt or destroy business data.
Unauthorized Access & Identity Theft: Without ITDR, compromised credentials and identity-based attacks may go undetected, leading to unauthorized access to systems and sensitive data.
Permanent Data Loss: Without backups, data deleted, corrupted, or encrypted by ransomware cannot be recovered. Microsoft 365 does not retain deleted data indefinitely.
Business Interruption & Financial Loss: Security incidents can result in extended downtime, productivity loss, emergency recovery costs, ransom payments, and reputational damage.
⚖️ Regulatory & Legal Exposure: Data breaches involving client or employee personal information may carry legal obligations and fines under applicable privacy laws (PIPEDA, BC PIPA).
